Mr. Henri Slezynger is the Founder of the Company and maintains the control of Cigel Participações S.A., direct controlling shareholder. He is member of the Consultive Board of ABIQUIM, a chemical industry association to which he has been appointed president for the first time in 1981. Before founding Unigel, he held positions at Pfizer in Brazil, where he worked from 1959 to 1970 and was vice president of the Sindicato de Resinas do Estado de São Paulo, an association of resins producers in São Paulo, Brazil.

Mr. Slezynger holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and executive specialization courses from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mr. Marc Slezynger is the vice-chairman of the Board of Directors. Until 2015, he held executive positions at the company as export manager (from 1993 to 1999) and finance executive (from 1999 to 2015). Marc is an entrepreneur and a shareholder in companies such as Spumapac, a packaging segment company, and Compostos Plásticos de Engenharia (CPE), a thermoplastic compounds company.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and chemistry from Florida Institute of Technology and a corporate governance specialization from Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa (IBGC).

Mr. Matias is a member of the Board of Directors. Since 2018, he is a managing partner at Mastersenso, a consulting firm based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Prior to joining Unigel, he was Chief Executive Officer for LATAM and Global Business Unit president at Solvay Group (between 2014 and 2018). From 2006 to 2011, also served as an executive officer at Rhodia, a position that he then held until 2013 at Solvay following its acquisition of Rhodia in 2011.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) and a master’s in finance from Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

Mr. Porto is a member of the Board of Directors. From 1983 to 2019, he worked at Evonik Degussa, a multinational chemical company, where he was Chief Executive Officer for South and Central America operations.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of other companies such as Nitroquímica (since 2017) and ICE Pharma (since 2020). He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Fundação Dom Cabral since 2016 and deliberative board of Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz since 2020.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial (FEI).

Mr. Noronha is Chief Executive Officer since October 2018. He has more than 35 years of experience in the chemical sector. Mr. Noronha worked at The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) between 1976 and 2004, where he held several local and global leading positions. After that, he worked for Unigel from 2004 and 2016 as operational officer and for SABIC between 2017 and 2018, as regional leader. He is one of the vice-chairmen of the Board of Directors of the Abiquim (Brazilian Chemical Industries Association).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), a degree in law from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP), a postgraduate degree in business administration from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and an advanced management from INSEAD.

Mr. Zilberknop joined Unigel in 2002 and became Chief Financial Officer in 2011, responsible for areas such as Controllership, Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Information Technology and Human Resources. He has over 30 years of experience in financial management and over 20 years in the chemical industry. At Unigel, he also served as CFO of the group’s subsidiaries, as well as General Manager of Unigel Mexico.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidade Católica de Pelotas and a postgraduate degree in finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). He also has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral.

Mr. Fonseca joined Unigel in 2015 as Controllership and Financial Planning Executive Officer. Prior to that, he worked at Grupo Brasfanta as Corporate Controller (from 2013 to 2015) and for 17 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers Brasil as audit senior manager. He also worked for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Auditores Independentes and Banco Bradesco.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) and holds an executive MBA from the Brazilian Business School (BBS). He also obtained an IFRS certificate from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Mr. Garcia joined Unigel in 2015 as Chief Legal Officer. Prior to that, he served as legal manager at Grupo Vicunha (from 2008 to 2015) and also held positions in other companies and in law offices.

He holds a bachelor’s and a postgraduate degree in Commercial Law from Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU), an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Armando Alves Penteado (FAAP), an LLM in Corporate Law from Insper (formerly known as IBMEC-SP) and a Compliance Certificate from Fordham Law School.

Ms. Giglio joined Unigel in 2015. Before assuming Human Resources Officer, acted as Human Resources manager, having implemented several people development processes. Prior to that, she worked in labor litigation and advisory law. She started her career as a lawyer in several medium and large firms, working in the entertainment, pharmaceutical and stock brokerage segments.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Faculdade de Direito de São Bernardo do Campo (FDSBC), an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and is concluding an MBA in People Management from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA). She also has a specialization course from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Mr. Marquis is Industrial Executive and Sustainability Officer since 2015. He joined Unigel in 2001. Prior to that, he worked for Dixie Toga. Mr. Marquis has more than 25 years of experience in the chemical industry.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial (FEI), and specializations in Environmental Management and Technologies, and Industrial Management, both from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), and in Safety Engineering from Universidade Santa Cecília (Unisanta). He also holds an executive MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Mr. Pereira is Industrial Officer, responsible of the styrenics and acrylics operations. He joined Unigel in 2020. Prior to that, he worked as Chief Operational Officer at several Chemical companies, such as PetroquimicaSuape, Citepe, Mossi & Ghissolfi and RhodiaSter. He has more than 30 years of experience with large Green Field Project implementation.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering degree Unicamp, a postgraduate degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (PUC-Campinas), and Specialization degrees in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and in Strategic Management from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC)

Mr. Natal is Executive Commercial Officer, responsible for styrenics and acrylics segments. He joined Unigel in 2011 where he held several positions in company commercial structure. Prior to that, he worked at Borealis (from 2006 to 2011), Imerys (from 2002 to 2006) and Braskem (from 2000 to 2001).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (Poli-USP), an executive MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), and a postgraduate degree in B2B Marketing from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).

Mr. Gubeisse is Commercial Officer, responsible for the styrenics segment. He joined Unigel in 2011. Prior to that, he worked at The Dow Chemical Company (Dow). He has more than 25 years of experience in the chemical industry.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and postgraduate in business administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP).

Mr. Santos is Commercial Officer responsible for Acrylics segment. He joined Unigel in 2020. Prior to that, Mr. Santos worked at Braskem for 11 years (from 2009 to 2020) and as commercial manager at COPESUL for 12 years (from 1996 to 2008).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), specialization in Petrochemicals from Instituto Alberto Luiz Coimbra de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa de Engenharia (COPPE). He also holds an executive MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Ms. Grespan is Commecial Officer responsible for International Business. She joined Unigel in 2006, working in commercial management areas. Prior to that, she worked in Intermed Equipamentos Médicos (from 1999 to 2003)

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (UMESP), and a postgraduate in Strategical Business from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA). Ms. Grespan has also a specialization in international business from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Mr. Arnaez is Commercial Executive Officer of Agro and accumulate the position of Logistics Executice Officer. He joined Unigel in beginning of 2022. Prior to that, he held executives positions in several companies of the market such as Exxon, Cargill, Citibank, Bunge, LDC and COFCO. He has more than 30 years of experience in industry.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, postgraduate in Companies economy and finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), MBA of Internation Economy from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and a master in economic strategy of companies from Université Grenoble – France.

Mr. Almeida is Fertilizers Commercial Officer of Unigel since 2020. He has more than 30 years of experience in agribusiness. He worked at Bunge between 1989 and 2013, acting several local and global leading positions. After that, worked at Irgovel between 2013 and 2016 as President Director and at BSN Tranding between 2019 and 2019 as Chief Executive Officer.

He holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineer from pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), a MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) and also attended the General Management Program at Harvard Business School (HBS).

Mr. Nitschke rejoined Unigel in April 2019 as a Supply Chain Office, after working at the Company between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, he served as head of operations at Eternit for 2 years. Mr. Nitschke has more than 30 years of experience in leading companies as Alcoa, Rhodia, Ipiranga and Braskem.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineer, a specialization in marketing and administration from Escola Superior de Marketing e Propaganda (ESPM) and International Executive MBA from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA).

Mr. Alves is Strategy, Innovation, Business Development and Project Engineering Officer. He has 23 years of experience in the chemicals industry. Mr. Alves joined Unigel in 1995 where worked in several leading positions, including executive industrial officer.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (Poli-USP), in Brazil, and a master’s degree in energy from Universidade Salvador (UNIFACS) in Brazil.

Mr. Uemeoka is Logistics Officer since 2022. He has more than 22 years of experience in chemical sector working at supply chain area. Prior to joined Unigel, worked in BASF (between 2013 and 2022), helding several positions of supply chain manager, projects and operational excellence manager and logistics manager.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with international business from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, postgraduate in Operation Management from Ibmec-SP and has a Executive MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Ms. Santos is Credit and Collections Officer. She has more than 15 years of experiences in credit risk management, collections and financial planning. Prior joining Unigel, she worked at companies such as Rossi (between 2014 and 2017) and PDG Realty (between 2009 and 2014), leading credit teams in several Brazilian regional offices.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) with certification in Credit Risk from Febraban. In December 2022, she will complete an executive MBA in Financial Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Mr. Canales is Chief Information Officer since 2022. Prior to that, he worked in technology area at GE between 2005 and 2017, having worked in several countries in North America, Europe and Asia. He also served as CIO and Director of Digital Transformation at Grupo SADA from 2018 to early 2022. Ricardo has extensive experience in the digital and industrial sectors.

He holds a Science Computer degree and a master’s in information technology management from Instituto Monterrey, in Mexico. Mr. Ricardo specializations specializations focused on entrepreneurship and innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
